So very much to the core of it all...
I first heard Break Stuff when my son had moved in with me several years ago and we agreed to be tolerant of each others music. I gained Limp Bizkit, Korn, Godsmack, Eminem, Rob Zombie and others… He gained Led Zeppelin, Emerson-Lake & Palmer, Beatles and more… At that time we both had anger issues and Break Stuff was so appropriate for us both as that expression of that anger. Later, I became seriously involved with a young lady, and every word of Nookie was that life. Now, my son is now getting out of treatment for drugs and alcohol and Walking Away speaks to him as well… His eyes said so much as he read the lyrics I had printed out and took up to him… I hope that you will come to Omaha on your next tour? Sokol Auditorium would be a great small venue to be sure. I took my son there to see Korn before he went into treatment and it was great concert as I am not into the huge arena shows. Walking Away goes directly into the soul! I can feel the pain deep inside in it and i love it when a guitar is so tormented.
